Performance and Application
The SV4800 is designed for automatic clipping of long and shaped products with a diameter of 45-160 mm. The machine handles polymer, fibrous, and collagen casings and provides a throughput of up to 120 portions per minute.
The equipment is suitable for the production of cooked and dry-cured sausages, ham, and molded products. The manufacturer's current product page also lists applications for minced meat and fish, whole-muscle products, surimi, plant-based products, cheese curds, soups, sauces, and pet food.
Shuttle-Clip Technology
The SV4800 uses Shuttle-Clip technology, which combines product displacement and clipping. The system is designed for high speed, precise portioning, and gentle casing handling.
The massive displacement system allows processing products up to 160 mm in diameter. For airless, loose packing, the machine can be additionally equipped with an increased expansion device of up to 250 mm.
Clip pressure control
The clip pressure control system protects the equipment from damage due to improper operation. When the set closing force limit is reached, the safety system automatically stops the machine.
Quick Casing Change
The rotating casing brake mechanism allows for casing changes without moving the clipping head, reducing changeover time.
A dual-console rotating turret is available as an option, allowing casing changes to be made virtually without interrupting production.
Output Conveyor
The rotating output conveyor is equipped with programmable belt speed control. This allows product movement to be adapted to its diameter and production process parameters.
The conveyor height is adjustable depending on the product size. For facilities with limited space or producing very long products, the SV4800 is available in a side-discharge configuration, minimizing the equipment footprint.
Touchscreen Control
The SV4800 is equipped with a powerful, maintenance-free, electronically controlled servo drive. Six speed settings are available, allowing the machine to be tailored to the specific product.
Control is via a touchscreen with a graphical interface. Production parameters can be saved in programs and reused when changing products.
The integrated control system monitors safety functions, reports abnormal equipment conditions, and reminds you when scheduled maintenance is required.
Hygienic design
Smooth stainless steel surfaces and easy access to the work areas make the machine easy to sanitize.
For easy cleaning, the following features are included:
- a pull-out drawer in the lower part of the housing;
- a rotating outlet conveyor;
- a quick-release Easy Clean filling tube head;
- an enclosed control cabinet with protection from moisture.
The design is designed for quick technical and sanitary maintenance.
